Cinders meets Puss (From Your Local Guardian)

Theatre Workshop Coulsdon are putting panto favourites Cinderella and Puss-in-Boots on stage together for the first time in an irreverent mash-up of two much-loved seasonal tales, in their Christmas show ‘Cinderella’s Puss-in-Boots!’.

Audiences will be treated to two principal boys for the thigh-slapping price of one, the most deliciously appalling Ugly Sisters to grace the amateur stage, and the ultimate in hissable baddies, King Rat.

Puss-in-Boots will be at his swashbuckling best while Cinderella her Ab-Fab style fairy godmother triumph against the odds, with the help of the loveable Buttons, naturally.

Add in all the usual seasonal mayhem, misrule and hilarity, plus a full band, plenty of fabulous songs, several flash-bangs and a few custard pies, and it’s got the lot.

There are four performances remaining on Friday December 16, at 8pm, Saturday December 17 at 3pm and 8pm and Sunday December 18 at 3pm.
