New production looks into effects of life-threatening illness

A new production looking into the effects of life-threatening illness on young people is being performed next week.

Take Two Every Four Hours, on at Theatre 503, Battersea offers audiences an intimate glimpse of two teenage men coping with life-threatening illnesses.

The drama takes place on a seemingly quiet afternoon, featuring characters Freddy and James who are bed-bound in a private hospital ward.

It takes a surprisingly light angle, using drama to explore youth, relationships and bed baths.

Actors Henry Regan and Ross Stanley, members of Vertical Line Theatre Company, have each scooped a commendation award in acting for their performances.

Their performance has also earned the show five star reviews when it premiered in Edinburgh and a NSDF Edinburgh Emerging Artists Award.

Take Two Every Four Hours runs from Tuesday, November 29, is on now until Saturday, December 10 at Theatre 503, above the Latchmere Pub, Latchmere Road.

Tickets cost £12 to £8 and can be booked on theatre503.com or 020 7978 7040.

The show starts at 7.45pm, with 5pm performances on December 3 and December 10.
