Liam Gallagher has dismissed talk of an Oasis reunion, saying his older brother Noel is “too busy being beige”.

The singer sparked rumours of a reunion when a tweet he posted was “fist-bumped” by former Oasis guitarist Paul Arthurs.

Paul, fondly known as Bonehead, responded with the emoji when Liam wrote this cryptic message:

Liam later posted that he was up for a reunion but that his brother was not.

The Mancunian siblings have had a long-standing feud since the band split in 2009.

Some of their best known songs include Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back In Anger and Champagne Supernova.

Definitely Maybe, the band’s first album, became the fastest selling debut in British history when it was released in 1994.

The pair are hailed as defining the world of Britpop.

According to the Official Charts Company, they landed eight UK number one singles and eight number one albums before they parted ways.
