A 22-year-old aspiring producer from Rochdale, near Manchester, has been featured on Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo.
Adnan Khan, aka Menace, who works in a mobile phone repair centre when he’s not producing beats, has even been name-checked for the track Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2.
Menace told us: “It’s pretty crazy how it got onto Kanye’s album. I was told like two to three days before it was released that Kanye had recorded it.
“At the moment this is the biggest so far.”
Menace’s beats reached Kanye after rapper Desiigner bought one of them for his 2014 single Panda.
Desiigner then got a contract with Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music Label and Kanye subsequently sampled Panda for TLOP.
We’re hoping Adnan won’t have to repair phones for much longer. So does he.
“Hopefully this will open doors for even bigger projects,” he added.
