Julia Stiles has admitted she would love to reprise her role as CIA agent Nicky Parsons opposite Matt Damon in the Bourne movies.

Matt and director Paul Greengrass recently announced they were returning to the franchise, and Julia is hoping to hear from them very soon.

She said: “They’re writing it now. So I’m hoping my character fits into the storyline somehow.

“Matt and Paul have so much integrity that they waited a long time before they decided that they wanted to make another one, for many different reasons, but largely because they wanted to make sure there was a story there.

“And they’re so much fun to shoot, I would love to be a part of it.”

But the Blue star admitted it isn’t certain she will be asked to return.

She added: “There is no such thing as definite, things change all the time, but I know they’re planning to make it at the end of the year and they’re writing it now.”

Juila is also well known for her starring role in 2001 love story Save The Last Dance, and she admits she is still dancing, 14 years on.

She said: “I am so happy to have been in that movie and glad that people enjoyed it. It was a lot of work in terms of the dance rehearsals and the training that went into it. We had to do a lot of the choreography on weekends in between shooting, but that was so fun. What a great opportunity to have private dance training.

“My favourite thing to do as a form of exercise but also just sort of therapy, I call it my private dance party, and I make a playlist and first thing in the morning I just dance in my living room.

“I recommend it. It means you start the day in such a fun way.”

Julia stars in new drama Blue, about a working single mother who leads a secret double life as an escort to make ends meet, which begins on Lifetime on Monday, March 2.
