Dannii Minogue has revealed her son Ethan has helped her overcome her heartbreak.

The former X Factor judge said Ethan, who is nearly two years old, keeps her going following the break-up of her romance with Kris Smith.

"Life has been full of certainties and surprises but, even with the changes, I know I am incredibly lucky and wake up each day feeling blessed with my beautiful baby boy there," she told InStyle Australia.

"When I tuck him into bed, I'll hear this little voice yell out, 'I love you more!'" added the 40-year-old.

Dannii, the younger sister of pop star Kylie, revealed that she would like to return to singing - but has doubts about finding time for it in her hectic schedule, which also includes her TV work and running fashion label Project D.

"There is an inner desire to do some more tracks, but I have to weigh up how much I can do," she admitted.

"Project D takes up the most time, and then I've also got Australia's Got Talent. And, I don't want to miss out on these first gorgeous years with Ethan where he's learning so much. So I don't know, it's still a question mark!"
