Motown’s main man Stevie Wonder is headlining Calling Festival at Clapham Common this month, but if you’re not able to make it, you might just be in luck.

Streatham’s Hideaway are putting on three special Stevie Wonder tribute nights this week to pay homage to the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award winner.

Stepping into Stevie’s shoes will be professional soul and R&B singer Victor Bynoe. Having toured with a plethora of top artists including Sir Bob Geldof, The Drifters and Eric Clapton, Bynoe will be entertaining a much smaller crowd in South London this week.

Victor will be belting out tracks from the soul legend’s catalogue of mega hits, including Isn’t She Lovely, For Once In My Life, Signed Sealed Delivered, I Just Called To Say I Love You and Superstition.

He will be accompanied by singer-songwriter Sharlene Linton and a full live band led by Seal’s keyboard player Janette Mason.

Fans of Stevie Wonder’s infectious tracks will be glad to know that singing along is highly encouraged – but tickets for Streatham’s biggest party this week are selling fast, so prompt booking is advised.

Tickets for The Music of Stevie Wonder at Hideaway are £10 or 4 for £30 on Thursday and £15 on Friday/Saturday. Doors from 7pm To book, visit www.hideawaylive.co.uk Hideaway, 2 Empire Mews, Streatham, London, SW16 2ED 020 8835 7070 Based on information supplied by Tabbi Lee.
