A group of budding young musicians will channel their inner Paul, John, Ringo and George at the Vera Fletcher Hall this weekend.
The Beatles4ever UK tribute band will be joined by youngsters from across the borough for a special concert in side of the Teenager Cancer Trust on Saturday, June 7.
The concert was organised by residents Phill Marshall and Paul and Mark Cunningham, with ABC Music in Esher loaning equipment for the gig.
Mr Marshall said: “We are passionate about encouraging young artists, and since profits from this year’s event will go to a teenage-related charity, we decided to recruit some young stars in the making to accompany the band on stage and showcase their talent with solo acts before the show and during the interval.
“Their enthusiasm has been just amazing, all for a fantastic cause, and I’m sure we’ll be seeing their names in lights in the future.”
Youngsters from Thames Ditton Junior School, Hinchley Wood School, Hampton Court House, Hampton School and The Lady Eleanor Holles School will be among those performing.
Singer-songwriter Zak Pajak from Hinchley Wood will also perform as the main support act, opening the night with his own compositions on acoustic guitar.
