Soulsters, rockers and pop-lovers will be spoilt for choice at Cobham’s new live music club.
Mole Music Club was created by musician and studio owner Niall Squire earlier this year after his frustration at how few live music venues were in the borough reached a peak.
Mr Squire said: “I was talking to a band who regularly use my studio and we thought that rather than complain about the lack of good venues in the area, we would just create one.”
After a search for suitable venue, the Cobham Avorians Cricket Club, Convent Lane agreed to help out, with music nights now taking place every month.
Mr Squire said: “We've had a good response to the evenings so far, so we're aiming to build on that foundation to establish the club being known for quality live music locally.”
The next club night takes place on Friday, June 6, with a performance from the Ali Mac Band.
