Rapper Jay Picasso released the Testament on April 5 this year.
It's the first EP from the Carshalton-based lyricist, who runs Starcity Studios off Sutton High Street.
The 27-year-old has had a successful career as a record producer, writing everything from pop songs to folk music.
Jay has rarely written Hip Hop for other artists, which has inspired him to pick up a mic and put out his own ideas.
He said: "I am a huge movie fan, and get inspired by film scores.
"I like big orchestral sounds, and love music from movies like Gladiator.
"That's what I went for when I wrote songs for my EP."
"I was going for that cinematic, epic feel.
"The Testament was an opportunity to make music that I wanted to make."
Testament features five tracks circling around a bibical theme, with chanting choruses and philosophical lyrics.
The EP features collaborations with a range of local talent, including the Croydon-based singer Jamie Jooste, who performs on Revelation (The End.)
Jay produced Jooste's EP 'The Man is Always Right.', and raps on her track Waste of Clothes.
The pair will be teaming up on a future project called Eclipse, but the rapper and producer isn't telling us anymore.
