Celebrate 75 years of Epsom and Ewell with an evening designed to bring together diverse musical tastes at Epsom Downs Racecourse.

The Epsom In Harmony concert has been organised to help mark the borough’s anniversary and to raise funds for the mayor’s charities.

There will be a wide variety of music on offer, spanning classics and chamber music, through to traditional male voice and old favourites, to barber shop and pop.

Those performing will include the Epsom Silver Band, Epsom Male Voice Choir, Epsom Choral Society, The Downsmen Barbershop Group, The Sponsalia Chamber Choir, the rock choir Soundbites and Ewell Ladies Singers.

The mayor, Councillor Christine Long, says: "Epsom in Harmony provides a perfect evening’s entertainment.

"Come and listen to music to celebrate the borough’s 75th anniversary, whilst helping to raise money for some very good causes.

"A great programme of music has been planned and I would like to thank everyone involved for pulling together this great concert."

The mayor’s charities for the year are Dyscover, a Surrey-based charity that supports people who have lost the ability to speak after suffering a stroke; Phab which promotes and encourages people of all abilities to come together on equal terms; and the Epsom Racing Staff Welfare Charity.
