The countless hits and unique dance moves of music legend Michael Jackson will explode onto the stage at the Epsom Playhouse this month.

Jackson Live in Concert is billed as the ultimate tribute show to the singer, who died in 2009, causing devastation to his millions of fans across the world.

The show features live vocals and authentic costumes and will be performed by Amir Sharmar and his band of musicians, faithfully recreating the Michael Jackson concert experience with a selection of his favourite hits.

Mr Sharmar started performing at an early age, and his work in musical theatre includes hit West End shows including Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

He says: "Being in a Michael Jackson tribute band is the biggest privilege for me. I have grown up watching Michael Jackson perform. My passion is his music. Performing his songs, and for it to be well-received, gives me an incredible feeling of happiness and serenity.

"I fell in love with the song Another Part of Me when I watched Michael Jackson sing it at Wembley stadium in 1998. The Way You Make Me Feel is my homage to his live show with the extended dance break and we try and recreate that Michael Jackson magical performance for the audience."

Epsom Playhouse says this portrayal of Michael Jackson has caught the nation’s imagination, with Amir and his band being well-received for accurately recreating the highly energetic performances of the king of pop.
