Tango siempre! (For one night only)

"Poor old Dot. Well, East-Enders returns tomorrow at 8pm," says the BBC announcer but you are not really listening. Instead, you're ogling the sinewy tango dancers on the screen, looking immaculate in scarlet, "and now, it is time for Celebrity Badger Baiting and will Sally Gunnell survive another week in the sett?"

But you are still distracted, watching the couples dance with fearsome Latino passion, wishing you could move like that.

Now you can watch the real thing at Epsom Playhouse. Because one of the stars of that BBC ident (as they call it in Tellyland) is Kicca Tommasi, who visits Epsom for Tango: Nuevo.

Kicca is joined by Myriam Ojeda Patino, Guillermo Torrens and Julio Mendez, who make up Tango Siempre, one of the most acclaimed Latin American dance groups. They were the producers of sell-out tango show Subitango and tickets for their thrilling new production Tango: Nuevo have also been selling fast.

In Tango: Neuvo, there are displays of both traditional and contemporary tango music with dancers who, between them, have also appeared in the hit West End production Tango Por Dos, BBC's Strictly Come Dancing and on Take That's 2006 Ultimate Tour. The quartet is accompanied by violin, accordion, piano, double bass and percussion.

We can't promise that any of their moves will rub off on you but you are almost guaranteed to be transfixed by these virtuosos of dance.

Tango: Nuevo; Epsom Playhouse, Ashley Avenue, March 17, 8pm, call 01372 742555, visit epsomplayhouse.co.uk
