The Broken Drum

The Broken Drum, Blackfen

Once a disused nail bar, the Broken Drum in Westwood Lane opened in 2015. Another micro-pub, they claim to sell the finest real ales straight from the cask. The ales are always changing, so there will always be a new drink to try. 308 Westwood Lane.

The Job Centre, Deptford

Once a job centre, and now, well, The Job Centre. This pub opened in 2014 and is part of chain Antic, which has a few pubs in the south east. 120 Deptford High St.

The Guard Horse, Woolwich

The Guard House opened in 2016 at an 18th century Queen Anne-style old guard house in Woolwich Arsenal. Serving food as well as cocktails, this pub looks set to stay. No 1 Street, Woolwich Arsenal.

One Inn The Wood, Petts Wood

An award winning micro-pub in Petts Wood, One Inn The Wood opened in May 2014. The first micro-pub in Bromley and has Kent themed food – worth dropping by. 209 Petts Wood Road, Orpington.

The Long Pond, Eltham

Yet another micro-pub, this one opened in 2014. Eltham's smallest pub, The Long Pond is an independent free house and serves ales from breweries across the south of England. 110 Westmount Road.

An award winning micro-pub on Crayford Waterside, this pub has been voted one of the best in London. Worth checking out. 3A Waterside, Crayford.

Baring Hall Hotel, Grove Park

Saved from demolition back in 2014, this building dates back to 1882. It has certainly stood the test of time. Baring Road, Grove Park.

The Hackney Carriage, Sidcup 

Another Bexley micro-brewery, this one opened last year under the watchful eye of a husband and wife team. Real ale pub on Station Road, Sidcup.

Woolwich Equitable

Another one of Antic's pubs in the south east, the former building society was turned into a pub in 2014. This watering hole is in General Gordon Square, Woolwich.
