An award-winning Hollywood actress is coming to church in Walton.
Jenn Gotzon, 36, will host an ‘An Audience With...’ at Cornerstone Church in Station Avenue on September 23.
Jenn’s big break came in Ron Howard’s Oscar-nominated 2009 movie Frost/Nixon where she played president Richard Nixon’s daughter, Tricia, opposite Frank Langella.
Since then, her projects have included 2014’s Oscar-nominated true story Alone Yet Not Alone and cyber war thriller Dragon Day.
Sometimes compared to a young Meryl Streep, Jenn also runs a mentor-outreach program called Inspiring Audiences.
Cornerstone’s pastor Chris Demetriou said: “"We are very pleased to have such a talented actress with us.
“Jenn's passion is to impact and inspire audiences. She wants the movie to be a vehicle for the audience to relate to her on-screen character’s victories and struggles."
The evening, which starts at 7.30pm, will include a screening of her movie God’s Country, after which she will talk about school, career and family challenges that she overcame through prayer, perseverance and faith.
An Evening With Jenn Gotzon is at Cornerstone Church, Walton, from 7.30pm on Wednesday, September 23. Go to cornerstonethechurch.com
