A craft brewer’s bar in Battersea – one of the first in the capital – has reopened after £30,000 investment.
Set up in 2008 by Duncan Sambrook, Sambrook’s Brewery has released more than 25 beers including Junction and Wandle Ales, Battersea Rye and the award-winning Russian Imperial Stout.
The improve Tap Room Bar includes a back bar serving wine and spirits, comfy seating and a large panoramic window which gives a glimpse of the working Brewhouse below.
The bar will host regular entertainment and serves sourdough pizzas from bakery Flour to the People.
Duncan Sambrook said: “This is a really exciting time for our brewery and we’re looking forward to opening our doors to the public again. The new look Tap Room Bar allows us to move towards a more rounded offering for our visitors, proving a broader drinks selection, entertainment and everything you need to have a great night.”
