Love Wimbledon has teamed up with some of the crème de la crème of local arts organisations and creative people to bring arts right into Wimbledon town centre this autumn.
In partnership with Merton Arts Trail and Wimbledon Bookfest, for four weekends only a range of free artistic activities will be created in our ArtShed on The Piazza ranging from creative workshops with The Polka Theatre, to activities by students from Wimbledon College of Art.
There will also be artistic demonstrations and performances happening in many different venues around town during September and October.
The celebration of the arts in Merton then continues with the opening of the Wimbledon Book Festival from September 28 running through to October 13.
Centre Court Shopping Centre is celebrating its 21st birthday with performing arts shows, CultureBlast – a series of events happening in Wimbledon library by Merton Council Arts team and Wimbledon Odeon is showing live, world class opera, theatre and ballet performance.
Kicking off on September 13, James Taylor and former Wimbledon College of Art alumni take over the art shed.
