Talented ventriloquist and comedian to headline Playhouse
One of Britain’s most talented and leading ventriloquists and comedians, Paul Zerdin will be coming to the Epsom Playhouse for one night only on Thursday, September 22.
Paul was a standout performer of last year’s Royal Variety Show and after a complete sell-out Edinburgh Fringe Festival is taking his show on a UK tour.
Paul began his career as a magician at the age of 15 and decided that the only thing he could do was to go into show business.
For the next five years he appeared up and down the country on the club and holiday camp circuit honing his magic while introducing his stand-up comedy and ventriloquism.
At the age of 20 he landed his first TV job as presenter on GMTV’s children’s programme ‘Rise and Shine’.
Years later Paul won ITV’s nationwide ‘The Big Big Talent Show’ hosted by Jonathan Ross.
Since then he has appeared regularly on the Royal Variety Show and on ITV's Tonight at the London Palladium with Bruce Forsyth and appeared in Shirley Bassey's 60th Birthday Special. Tickets are £15.00 or £12.50 for pass card members.
