The UK National Ballet has teamed up with a former Britain’s Got Talent dance troupe for a unique performance fusing street dance, acrobatics and ballet.

Flawless reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 with their street dance routine and have since gone on to star in feature movie Streetdance 3D and Streetdance 2.

The 10 flawless dancers were described by Simon Cowell as "one of the best things I have ever seen in my life" during their time on Britain’s Got Talent.

The ballet company and street dance troupe first worked together in September 2011 when they performed at the Peace One Day concert at the O2 in London having met previously at an event at Buckingham Palace in May 2011 where they both performed. Their new show will be created by Flawless choreographer Marlon "Swoosh" Wallen and Jenna Lee, soloist and choreographer at English National Ballet who will bring together the two dance disciplines to create a unique performance.

Wayne Eagling, artistic director of the English National Ballet said: "Collaborations like this are vital for English National Ballet to keep the Company fresh and modern and for dancer development.

"It’s a fantastic opportunity for Jenna to showcase her skills which have been nurtured by the Company.

"I personally can’t wait to see the show unfold and to see a whole new audience introduced to the world of ballet."
