Spooky fun will fill Squire’s this half term as the ever popular create and grow events return.

With the autumn season now upon us, children will be able to paint and take home their own pumpkin tea light holder, complete with a battery operated candle.

For youngsters who love witches, devils and skulls, glow in the dark skeletons ready to be hung up for Halloween can also be made.

Children who enjoy the half term activities will also take part in a spooky pumpkin pursuit around the centre.

Creative people will also have the chance to enter a free creeping colouring competition to be in with a chance of winning a goodie bag worth £20.

Sarah Squire, deputy chairman of Squire’s Garden Centre, says: “As a parent myself I know how challenging the half-term break can be in keeping children entertained.

“Our spooky themed events are a stimulating mix of painting and learning, helping to engage them in a fun and interesting way.

“We also encourage everyone to come in fancy dress, meaning lots of fun and laughter for all the family.”

Create and grow spooky half term events are available on a first come first served basis.
