She's been endorsed by Sting and works with a Grammy Award winning producer, so you'll have to get in quick if you want to see Esther Alexander launch her new album at The Bedford on Tuesday.
In partnership with Cafe Nero, who made her their artist of the month for both July and October, 250 free tickets are being given away to the show on a first-come-first-served basis.
There will not be any available on the door so if you do want to go you need to email esther@estheralexander.com as soon as you can to secure your spot.
The Long Way Home is Alexander's fourth studio album and was officially released in July, but, due to a two-month tour of the UK, she is only now getting round to holding the launch party.
She will be supported on the night by Chris Lawson Jones and joined on stage by her full band, led by Grammy-award winning producer Kipper.
He collaborated on the album, which is full of stories of love and life, with her as did publisher and guitarist David Clifton and writer and singer, Judie Tzuke.
"This record really has felt like the long way home for me," says the singer, who became a new mum recently.
"In the sense I finally feel I’ve found my dream team, in the musicians, the writers and just the whole vibe really.
“I think I realise more that music is a gift to be enjoyed, worked hard at but not obsessed over.
"My son has shown me how to be present in the moment and I find myself not always wishing I was in some other place.”
Sting is a confirmed fan having given her cover of his song Fragile his seal of approval, while Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley from the One Show were spotted enjoying one of her sets recently.
In return for being named Cafe Nero's artist of the month, Alexander is performing 38 gigs in total for the chain, while they play her record daily in all their 370 stores across the UK.
