Two ladies from East Molesey host a Caribbean night to raise money for a charity close to their hearts.
The Caribbean Jump Up, by Nikki Wilson and Vera Scott, will raise money to support the British Heart Foundation and the Lymphoma Association.
The event will feature music from the Nostalgia Steel Band and a curry.
The causes are particularly close to Ms Scott’s heart after she found out she had lymphoma in 2005.
It took until 2010, three lots of treatment and new drugs before Ms Scott went into full remission.
She says: “The Lymphoma Association really helped me and it is an immensely supportive organisation.
“Research for new drugs is so important, and a lot of people benefit from it.”
The Caribbean Jump Up takes place at Mole Hall, Bishop Fox Way, on Saturday, December 1, from 7pm to 11pm.
Tickets cost £15 and are available from Domains Estate Agents, Walton Road, Vera Scott on 020 8979 8576 and Nikki Wilson on 020 8979 4896.
