Use these simple instructions if you are on the scene of a breaking news incident, you see something interesting going on or if there is some news from your life you want to share.
You can send any news reports to us as well as pictures and videos you have taken on your digital camera or mobile phone:
Text messages
To text us simply start your message by entering the keyword SLNEWS. Leave a space and then key in your comments, along with your name, and send your message to 88010.
If you don't have any news to share then use our text service to let off steam. Share your rants or raves if there is anything you want to comment on.
Mobile phone pictures and videos
To send us videos clips and pictures from your mobile:
1. Start the message by entering the keyword SLPICS.
2. Leave a space and then key in a description of your picture or video, including your name.
3. Send it to 07834 487010 - make sure your picture or video is attached!
Texts cost 25p plus your normal phone operator charge
