I refer to the letter from the Spencer Road resident headed "Hard work is a waste of time" in the April 17 edition.
It is not only in Spencer Road that the council refuse collectors throw all the carefully sorted rubbish into one wheelie bin and then into the back of one lorry.
It happens regularly here in Haynt Walk.
Sometime last year, we were told this was an experiment and would we please continue to sort our rubbish.
It's time the experiment ceased. Otherwise, we should be told that we do not need to waste our time sorting the rubbish and finding space in our houses for two boxes.
