Fed up with dog mess on streets

I have just read about Boris and his opinion of Morden being too clean.

Congratulations, I wouldn't give Boris the time of day anyway!

However, I wonder whether you could put in an article on dogs fouling the streets?

I walk a lot on many local streets and lately I have had to dodge many a pile, large and small, on our pavements or the grass. It really is getting too much.

I can't imagine how nasty it must be for a mother with a pushchair, when she puts the wheels through these smelly piles.

I know some owners let their dogs off the lead and cannot always see what mess they may leave as they follow behind.

Maybe a really large headline in your paper could let owners know that the residents in Morden generally are fed up and more must be done to either fine them if caught, or put notices in prominent places that might encourage them to clean up. Anything!

Nico, Morden says...

Not only is dog mess a problem, but those ignorant car owners that park nearly their whole car on the pavement when there is no need to and blocking driveways. About time the council did something about it all and Morden isn't clean, it's awfully unclean in many roads.
