Yes, another letter from an OAP.
Why can't the council give us a choice - take my green waste for nothing and I will carry on taking my bottles and jars to Sainsbury's or Tesco like I have been doing for the last 30-odd years.
Also many OAPs (like us) have now dug up their edges and shrubs so they won't have green waste.
This won't please the environmentalists yet, if we can't afford £35 a bag, this is the way it will be.
