	On the subject of aircraft noise, I had to do my Victor Meldrew bit and say "I don't believe it" when I read Clive Soley, campaign director of Future Heathrow, saying "most of the noise from planes is caused by air frame noise, not the engine" (Staines Guardian, February 21).
