Calling all lone parents and single access parents.

The facts: There are an estimated 6.8million families in Britain today, of which 1.7million are lone parents.

Lone parents care for about three million children. Ninety per cent of lone parents are women.

In the UK, more than half of one-parent families live below the poverty line. Holidays are a rarity.

But Holiday Endeavour for Lone Parents (Help) is at hand.

Help is a registered charity. It has succeeded in arranging discount holidays for lone parents since it was introduced more than 27 years ago.

Help has contacts with major holiday companies Pontins and Haven. Due to recent success, Help has been able to buy its own caravans at Haven Primrose Valley at Filey, Haven Golden Sands at Mablethorpe and Flamingoland theme park and zoo.

Lone parents and single access parents have the chance to make new friends and meet others while enjoying a break away.

Loneliness and boredom are not an option as our holidays include a full entertainment package.

We have thought of everything to give lone parents and their children a truly memorable holiday.
