To clarify, God’s love will never grow cold

It is always heartening to read a contribution from Don Mayle. We all need to be alerted to Biblical guidelines.

The English language being what it is, it would be clearer to show the prophecy mentioned as "in the latter times the love for God will grow cold". ( In other words, we are warned of a time when man's love for God will grow cold).

This is to point out that God's love will never grow cold, even when He has to discipline us.

What loving father will not discipline his child in order to guide him away from danger?

God's love for mankind is unbounded.

With respect:

An utter load of cobblers.

God is a callous and wanton killer and if he ever had the gall to show his face around here he'd be facing charges for the murders of at least 172 named individuals let alone charges for the attempted genocide of almost every human and animal that walks upon the earth, by drowning.
And his son is not much better by invoking Peter to sell everything to buy two swords whilst the killer line must be "But those mine enemies ... bring hither, and slay them before me" Luke 19:27.
If that family moved in near you, you'd soon be wanting to move out.
Whatever source material Mrs. Sanderson is referring to; it is unquestionably NOT the Bible.

To the people of Burma & China this week Mrs Anderson would like to say "you had it coming" but It does prove how much God loves you!!!

At least the two previous comments do not question the existence of the Almighty.

I am always amazed at the amount of people who continually quote the Bible, announce proudly that they do go to Church, tell everyone that they are doing things for the Church, yet never, ever do anything for the community. As a former Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinator, I certainly never had any help from anyone religious - too busy sitting on uncomfortable seats talking to someone who may or may not exist. Why not try talking to people who need you instead??

Anne giles is so self righteous. Anne if you want to help people in need then maybe you should get out of your neighbourhood. because there are real people with real needs and they dont live in comfortable selsdon.

I have to agree with Anne Giles.

Dee, Mrs Giles is only offering an opinion not an invitation to a moratorium on her own righteousness.
