Curry boost to retail therapy

Croydon's curry chef of the year, cooked up some sizzling Indian dishes for tired and hungry customers at the Purley Cross Tesco store on Saturday, July 28.
Special recipes, cooking tips and bottles of mineral water were provided by top chef Dakshinmoorthy Sitharaman for those finding the meal too hot to handle as Tesco staff served hungry customers outside the store
Mr Sitharaman will go through to the next round of the competition, having beaten Croydon chefs to win the prestigious title.
