Climate change campaigner Simon Dickason has returned home to Streatham after taking part in protest marches in Copenhagen.
Mr Dickason travelled to Copenhagen as a member of the Oxfam team for the UN climate change conference.
The team went on a special activist train, which Mr Dickason described as being filled with a variety of campaigners, including a French girl singing with her guitar, a large English group drinking cups of tea and a man wearing a Viking helmet and a t-shirt which read “I might look stupid but not as stupid as climate change”.
Mr Dickason said: “The main event itself - the march through Copenhagen - was loud, colourful, packed with inventive sloganeering and eye-catching props. And, if you thought about it for a moment, inspirational.
“Tens of thousands of campaigners had travelled from every corner of the world to the Danish capital.”
