Residents are invited to a briefing about the future of waste in Sutton.
Following requests from residents, MP Tom Brake and executive member for environment Coun Colin Hall are holding a public meeting to give updates on various waste related matters.
These include: national waste reduction targets, the South London Waste Partnership, the borough’s waste strategy, the planning process to identify possible waste management sites and the technological options for reducing waste. There will be an opportunity for residents to ask questions about waste related matters.
The meeting will take place at Beddington Village Hall, Beddington Lane on Saturday, February 6 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm.
