Experts from Elmbridge Council’s environmental team were at the Esher Waitrose car park on Friday, May 22, to answer residents’ questions about the new bin collection service that starts in October.
It was the first of a series of roadshows taking place this month and residents still have the chance to ask the team any queries about the service tomorrow at the Tesco Express in East Molesey and Friday at Holyhedge Road in Cobham.
The team will also be appearing at the Molesey Carnival on Saturday, June 6, and the Claygate Flower Show on Saturday, July 18.
The council has said the service will enable residents to recycle and compost over half of their rubbish.
