Mental health trust signs up to cut its carbon footprint

South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust is set to cut its carbon footprint and reduce its energy bills by joining phase three of the Carbon Trust's NHS Carbon Management programme, launched earlier this month. It is one of 18 NHS trusts taking part in the latest phase of the programme, which will see participants collectively cut their carbon footprints by 60,000 tonnes and energy costs by £7 million per year.
