| Good game, good game: The Greener Nation Game |
Environmental business experts Envibe and sustainable transport company Sustrans teamed up last week to host the Greener Nation Game, an informal game-show designed to get businesses in Croydon talking green.
Envibe gives free advice in all areas of environmental responsibility including, reducing waste and increasing recycling, saving water and energy and buying greener products.
The evening started off with a quiz on sustainable transport in which contestants were asked a series of questions on green issues and environmentally friendly transport.
It was held at Selsdon Park Hotel and was an informal evening that pitted Croydon businesses head-to-head.
The evening was also a perfect opportunity for Croydon's businesses wishing to make a difference to network and get ideas from one another.

Entrants were wined and dined and the event culminated in a Bruce Forsyth-style Generation Game show where businesses went toe-to-toe to win prizes and the coveted title of greener business of the year.
The winning team consisted of staff from the Housing Corporation and Lightning Office Supplies. They received prizes from an imitation conveyor belt which included bicycle equipment, environmental DVDs, books and, of course, a cuddly toy.
Anna Eltringham of Envibe said: "We all need to be prepared to step out and work together both within and beyond our organisations.
"In this way we can make a difference in Croydon, to congestion, pollution and quality of life, and in turn we make a difference to the world."
