The young people of Brentford have been given an environmental voice with a new project that
will see their words distributed to every household in TW8.
With the publication of The Green Buzz newsletter in May, children from the area will look
at solutions as to how they can fight global warming by engaging people in the community
with projects in their area.
Brentford's four primary schools will be invited to join this project. Each school will
have one A4 side of the newsletter. In addition to the newsletter there is scope for the development of a webpage, a podcast and
a radio programme.

Those involved with the Young Green Voices project will be entirely responsible for providing
the content of the newsletter.
Created by the Brentford Recycling Action Group, which was set up to educate and inform local people on environmental issues, the project will be aided by guidance from teachers.
The young journalists will work in teams and a panel of young editors will be selected to
decide on the final copy.
