Steve Nunn, managing director of Tower Homes, said: "We are proud Centre View combines affordable homes for Londoners on intermediate incomes, while utilising environmentally sustainable materials and design."
The awards focused on energy used, transport facilities, pollution, materials used, water facilities, ecology and elements that affect the health of inhabitants.
All were addressed by Tower Homes leading Ecohomes to award them an "excellent" rating.
Upon completion, half of the homes will be put straight on to the open market, while the remainder will stay vacant for residents on part-buy and part-rent schemes, helping those on low-incomes get a foot on the property ladder.
Croydon Councillor Dudley Mead, cabinet member for housing, said: "I congratulate Tower Homes on developing this excellent EcoHomes scheme in Croydon."
