Westwood Language College for Girls in Upper Norwood hosted a celebration of Fairtrade Fortnight.
Year five students from Cypress Juniors joined in the fun and enjoyed samba, salsa and poetry workshops to learn more about Fairtrade.
Westwood College headteacher Margaret Hedley said: "This programme helps all students understand their role as responsible consumers in influencing world trade.

"It makes an excellent focus for our global citizenship project."
Other events which took place during the fortnight included a Ready, Steady, Cook competition for staff and students, a coffee morning, assemblies for students led by Diana Battaglia from Croydon's sustainability team and a series of lessons linked with Fairtrade.
Croydon Fairtrade Shop also took part, selling fresh products, jewellery and craft items.
