Partridge Farm
Partridge Farm is a family run business dedicated to rearing livestock and supplying high quality meat direct to the consumer. We believe traditional values, quality and customer service are the key ingredients in everything that we do.
The farm is set deep in the lush green Devon countryside and Peter and Wendy Bates, who run the farm, are committed to rearing cows and pigs in a way which is not only good for the animals but provides better tasting meat for their customers.
Their pork, for instance, comes from a pedigree herd of Large Blacks. This is a Rare Breed and farming them helps ensure the breed's survival. They grows slowly compared to intensively reared commercial pigs but the wait is worth it as Large Blacks came top for flavour in a recent survey.
Now you can taste the benefits of our top quality, lovingly reared, meat wherever you live in Britain.
Cuts of meat are dispatched fresh, not frozen, and are individually labelled and vacuum packed. This keeps the flavour in and ensures the meat stays fresh for as long as possible while making it easy for you to freeze later on if necessary.
We deliver the meat free of charge in our local area while for those further away, we send the meat with ice packs in insulated boxes, via overnight carrier for delivery to your home or place of work before noon on a day to suit you. We are always delighted to see our customers, so if you would prefer to collect your meat and see the farm, do let us know.
We do not have a minimum order size and can supply as much or as little as customers want but we do have to make a charge for deliveries by carrier to cover our costs.
