The Green Guardian Awards 2008 are open to everyone who is taking action to live a more sustainable lifestyle in south west London - at home, at school, at work and in the wider community.

|
Set up in 2006, in partnership with local councils and businesses, these inclusive awards are also a great way of saying 'Thank You' to our eco pioneers, and encourage others to follow their example.
|
|
So simply by nominating someone for an award you will actually be helping make this part of London a little bit greener in future!
There are awards in each participating borough and all the winners will be invited to a superb south west London gala evening in November.
The awards are open to anyone living, working or studying in Croydon, Hounslow, Kingston, Merton, Richmond and Sutton.

There are eight categories: Young Environmentalist, Green School Primary and Junior, Green School Secondary, Green Household, Green Business, Green Project or Group, Green Building, Green Champion.
