Justine Greening handed out medals in Southfields
School children held an Olympics style event last week with MP Justine Greening giving out medals.
Students in Our Lady Queen of Heaven School, in Victoria Drive, Southfields, released balloons for peace and dressed in international clothing.
Sisters Katrina Hibberd, nine, and Natasha Hibberd, 11, were awarded with a trip to Chessington World of Adventures for having six years of 100 per cent attendance.
Children have been learning about Olympic values and taking part in sports activities in the lead up to the games.
They were also been visited by Team GB athletes, including relay runner Conrad Williams and Winston Gordon, from the Judo squad.
