Gourmet Buffet is fast establishing itself as a recognised brand for quality Chinese food with branches across London providing a fast and friendly service, as well as representing extremely good value for money.
The restaurants are ideal whether you want a quick lunch or takeaway, or want to take time to relax in a comfortable environment.
Some of the venues have function rooms with karaoke facilities.
Eat as much as you like for £4.50 for lunch buffet (noon to 5pm). Enjoy dishes such as won ton soup, special fried rice, stir-fried soft noodle, sweet and sour chicken, beef in black pepper sauce, spring rolls, crispy seaweed, and prawn crackers (of course).
Dinner buffet (5-11pm) is only £8.50 where special dishes such as aromatic duck with pancakes and hoi sin sauce, chilli and salted king prawns, mussels with ginger and spring onion are served. Complimentary dessert (fresh fruits with ice cream and toffee pineapple) is included with the dinner buffet.
There is a wide selection of vegetarian dishes. Under-eights eat at half price.
Takeaways start from £2.80.
Currently there are restaurants at Victoria, Westminster, Clapham Junction, Islington, and Ilford, and a new one is opening in Hammersmith in February 2006.
