Raising money for the childrens heart federation
I raised over £900 doing a skydive for the charity who took my daughter and i on a once in a lifetime trip to lapland following her heart surgery at the age of 3. I wanted to put something back. Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s charity in the UK backs community development projects at launch event held at St. Nicholas Shopping Centre.
The Tutu Foundation UK sent a resounding thank you to the St. Nicholas Centre, for its support for an event hosted at the St. Nicolas Centre, for community groups. The event which took place last week[17th May 2012], brought together local people with ideas for improving their local community. The Tutu Foundation works with local community groups across the UK, to promote stronger communities, by helping bring local people come together with positive ideas for improving their community. read more
