One of the candidates in the Tooting by-election in June and a fathers' rights activist from Leatherhead are protesting on Jeremy Corbyn's roof.

Bobby Smith stood for the Tooting parliamentary seat in the by-election held after Sadiq Khan stood down earlier this year.

He is a New Fathers for Justice campaigner, standing under the banner of 'Give me back Elmo' a party name he says comes from a merger of his children's names, who he has been banned from seeing.

Mr Smith scaled Mr Corbyn's roof alongside Martin Matthews, 49, from Middlemead Road, Great Bookham.

The pair have climbed the roof of Epsom and Ewell MP Chris Grayling's house and constituency office a total of six times.

In November, Mr Matthews claimed police had warned him he faced prosecution if he scaled Mr Grayling's roof a seventh time.

This afternoon, August 5, Mr Smith and Mr Matthews climbed onto the roof of Labour leader Mr Corbyn's house in protest of his part in the "blocking of shared parenting".

Mr Smith took nine votes in the election held on June 16.
